Target group

18–25-year-old women and men in Saxony with a disability or a severe chronic illness in vocational training or professional activity

 

Samples

Planned total sample number: n = 150
  • 25 People with a mental illness
  • 45 people with a physical disability and with a severe chronic illness
  • 25 young people with a visual impairment n = 100
  • 35 young people with a hearing and speech impairment
  • 20 students with a disability

 

Methodological approach / research design

  • Recruitment via vocational training facility or working places for people with disabilities and universities in Saxony (Leipzig, Dresden, Chemnitz)
  • telephone interviews and face-to-face interviews
  • Various versions of the questionnaire (in normal language, in easy language)
